Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Cadre (“the Service”) at cadre.gg, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Cadre on behalf of a gaming clan or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

In plain English: by using Cadre you agree to these terms. If you're signing up on behalf of your clan, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.

2. Description of Service

Cadre is a web-based tool for Hell Let Loose gaming clans. It provides roster management, match briefing, map planning, and related coordination features. The Service is offered under two tiers:

  • Free — limited features, no payment required
  • Pro — full feature access, billed at €14.00 per month per clan
In plain English: Cadre is a coordination tool for HLL clans — rosters, briefings, map planning. Free gets you started, Pro unlocks everything.

3. Accounts and Authentication

Cadre uses Discord OAuth for authentication. You must have a valid Discord account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and for all activity under your Cadre account.

We do not store Discord passwords. We store your Discord user ID, username, and guild membership data as required to operate the Service.

In plain English: you sign in with Discord. We never see or store your password — Discord handles that. Keep your own Discord account secure.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

In plain English: Pro is €14/month and renews automatically. Cancel any time — you keep access until the end of your paid period. We give 30 days' notice before any price changes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Automate access to the Service in a way that places excessive load on infrastructure
In plain English: play fair. No hacking, no harassment, no bots hammering the servers.

6. Content

You retain ownership of any content you create in Cadre (maps, briefings, notes, rosters). By using the Service, you grant Cadre a limited license to store and display that content solely to operate the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not sell it to third parties.

In plain English: your maps, briefings, and rosters are yours. We store them to make the tool work — nothing else.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Cadre available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided as-is. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for losses resulting from unavailability.

In plain English: we do our best to keep things running. Like any web app, maintenance and outages happen. We'll communicate bigger ones in advance.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

In plain English: you can delete your account whenever you want. Accounts that break the rules can be suspended. Data is gone within 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cadre's total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. Cadre is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

In plain English: if something goes wrong, our liability is capped at what you paid in the last 3 months.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via the in-app announcement system or email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

In plain English: if we make significant changes, you'll see a notification in the app. Continuing to use Cadre means you're on board with the update.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Finnish courts.

In plain English: disputes are handled under Finnish law.
